Beer family.

Alice Baldwin Beer was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1887. She graduated from Vassar College in 1910. From 1919-1927 she was a member of The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. Beer ran a private antique textile business from 1928-1944, when she joined the staff of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum. She died in New York City in 1981.

Linus Caleb Baldwin was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on June 2, 1831. He engaged in cattle ranching and breeding in Wyoming, and died in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1910.
