Mindil, Clinton
After World War I, New York University created a compilation of names and short biographies of all the NYU students, alumni, and faculty who fought in the war. Clinton Mindil, a professor of English at NYU and in the Home Study Department at Columbia University, worked with the NYU Dean of Faculties, Marshall Snow, during the 1920s to put together a list with short biographical narratives of all the New York University students, alumni, and faculty involved in the war.
The War Record was intended for publication by the New York University Press but was never published.
