Lockwood, R. A. (Rufus Allen), 1811-1857
Rufus A. Lockwood first received his license to practice law in Indiana in 1833. In the 1850s he was practicing law in San Francisco. He was the attorney for John Charles FreĢmont and Biddle Boggs in their case against Merced Mining Co.
