International Union, United Automobile, Aircraft, and Agricultural Implement Workers of America. Local 154 (Detroit, Mich.)
Formed in 1936 to represent workers of the Hudson Motor Car Company in Detroit, Mich. Formerly, UAW-AFL Local 18312. When Hudson merged with Nash-Kelvinator in 1955, the entire manufacturing operation moved to Kenosha and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Local 154 then represented workers from the Special Products Division of American Motors Corporation. Membership dropped rapidly and the local ceased activities in 1963.
