Abraham Lincoln Association (Springfield, Ill.)

Organization formed in 1908 at Springfield, Ill. for the purpose of commemorating Abraham Lincoln's birthday, but with the hiring of Paul Angle in 1925 it took on a greater role in research and publication related to Lincoln. Continues to hold an annual banquet and Lincoln symposium on Feb. 12 and to publish the Journal of the Abraham Lincoln Association.
