St Bartholomew's Church (Nabawa, W.A.)
A school and agricultural hall was established in the 1890s. When the Upper Chapman railway was opened in 1910, a siding was opened near the pool and named Nabawa. A townsite was declared in 1965. The Nabawa Centre Church is St Bartholomew's (built 1959). The church is built of brick. Church of England services were held in Western Australia from the colony's inception in 1829. The Church of England in Australia was established in 1962 and, in 1981, became the Anglican Church of Australia.
