Bostwick, William, 1796-
Autobiography written in Fairhaven, Connecticut describes Bostwick's trip to Chicago via the Great Lakes in 1842 and his continued life and travels in Illinois. Bostwick's father served as an Episcopalian rector in Joliet from 1842-1845. He sent a copy of the manuscript to Rev. C.W. Leffingwell in Knoxville, Illinois.
