Odell, Arthur Gould

Charlotte N.C. architect and founder of Odell Associates Inc., a Charlotte, N.C. architectural firm.

Born November 22, 1913 in Concord, N.C. Studied at Duke University (1930-1931) before transferring to Cornell University, where he received a B.A. in Architecture (1935). Continued his studies at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. Founded Odell Associates in Charlotte, N.C. (1939). President of American Institute of Architects (1964-1965). Died April 21, 1988 in Charlotte, N.C.
