Hodgson, William Hope, 1877-1918
William Hope Hodgson, (1875-1918), son of Rev. Samuel Hodgson. He was a British soldier in the Mercantile Marines who was killed in WWII. He was the author of 8 books. Hodgson and his wife, Bessie, lived in France at the outbreak of the war. They later lived in Cardigan, Wales.
