Thomas Munson Foundation
Thomas Munson was born ca. 1612 in Rattlesden, Surrey, England. He arrived in Connecticut in 1637 and came to New Haven in 1640. He died in 1685 in New Haven. The Thomas Munson Foundation, an association of descendents, was founded on Aug. 8, 1982 in Groton, N.Y. It publishes a newsletter, maintains a scholarship committee and has made significant contribution to genealogical research through its publication of the Munson Record.
