Farr Literary Society (Student organization : Gainesville, Fla.)
The Farr Literary Society of the University of Florida was founded in 1925 for the purposes of cultivating interest in literary and cultural activities. The society held student debates and arranged for guest speakers to appear before the student body. The society was founded by Dr. James Marion Farr, Professor of English.
