Servantio, Astolfo
The author of this diary, Astolfo Servantio, was, as he describes in the first page of the manuscript, in the service of the Bishop of Tilesio. In this capacity, he recorded all events and discussions of the Synod, from its (second) beginning, Oct. 1560, to its closure in 1563.
