Daniels, Hayzel B., 1907-
Daniels graduated from the University of Arizona Law School in 1948. He practiced law in Phoenix and was elected to the Arizona State Legislature in 1950. In 1952, as president of the NAACP, he initiated and tried the Phoenix Union High School desegregation case. He later served as Assistant District Attorney and Phoenix City Judge before retiring in 1978.
