White, George Ritch, 1883-1957.
George Ritch White (1883-1957) graduated from Yale in 1906 and worked as a statistician for the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad for 41 years. He kept a diary from the age of 13 to the age of 72, in which he documented his daily life and work, as well as his local, transcontinental, and foreign travels.
