The Assembly Sub-committee on Affirmative Action is a subcommittee of the Assembly Standing Committee on Governmental Operations. It was formed in 1985. The principal task of the Sub-committee is to help develop programs to ensure participation of minority and women-owned businesses in state agencies, public authorities, and public benefit corporations.

Its findings and recommendations were contained in a 1986 report, Affirmative Action: the Crisis.
