Niekro, Phil, 1939-

Phil Niekro played for the Milwaukee & Atlanta Braves (1964-1983 & 1987); New York Yankees (1984-1985); Cleveland Indians (1986-1987); and the Toronto Blue Jays (1987). He also served as manager and general manager of the Colorado Silver Bullets, a professional women's baseball team. He is the brother of Major League pitcher Joe Niekro. Phil Niekro was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997.
