Philippi, Donald L.
Donald L. Philippi was a linguist, literary translator, political activist and musician. Philippi, an American, lived in Japan from 1957 through 1970. He was involved with the radical student movement in Japan and loosely affiliated with the Marxist group headed by Kanʼichi Kuroda.
