Bone, Donald E., 1922-

Bone served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II from 1941-1945. After training in the National Guard, he was assigned to the 40th Division of the Army and, later, to the 5th Bomb Group of the 13th Air Force. Bone was made a B-24 Bomber pilot and achieved the rank of major.
