Buffalo (N.Y.). Mayor.
Orlando Allen was elected mayor of Buffalo in 1848. He operated a successful grocery business with Hiram Pratt and engaged in lake commerce. He was president of the Bank of Buffalo and the Buffalo Historical Society.
