Schindel, Morton

Morton Schindel (1918--) is an American educator and producer, the founder of Weston Woods Institute and Studios in 1983. Named after the wooded area outside his home in Weston, Connecticut, he is known for bringing children's picture books to cinema yet staying loyal to their plots.
