Carnegie Estate (Cumberland Island, Ga.)
Apparently the work done by these Boston architects for additions to Dungeness was successful, and they worked so well with manager William E. Page that Peabody and Stearns continued to design buildings and additions, both large and small, for Lucy C. Carnegie and her children during the next dozen years.
From the description of Peabody and Stearns, architects, correspondence, 1895-1909. (Georgia Department of Archives and History Library). WorldCat record id: 38475738
