Turner, Lucille D., d.1990.
Turner was born in Charlotte, N.C., and graduated from Knoxville College in 1931. She taught in North Carolina and in Lexington, Mass. In Lexington, she was the coordinator of METCO, a program to educate African American public school students from Boston in suburban schools. She was also a deacon of the Hancock United Church of Christ.
