Italian Opera Association (New York, N.Y.), 1832-1839.
New York City organization established in 1832 with the aim of financing the construction and operation of the city's Italian Opera House, located at the NW corner of Church and Leonard Sts. and completed in 1833. Building sold and the Association dissolved in 1839 following the failure of the Opera House to establish financial independence.
