Women's Caucus for Political Science
Founded in 1969, the Women's Caucus for Political Science is a national organization of academics and others that seeks to advance the status of women in the field of political science. The caucus promotes equal opportunities for women in admission to and financial aid, employment, promotion, and tenure in political science departments. It monitors cases of sexual harassment, promotes participation of women in the American Political Science Association, and encourages the equitable treatment of women in texts on American political life.
