Shields, Edward J. 1924-

Served with the 10th Mountain Division, first with the 85th Regiment, Company B and later in the Division Headquarters Company. Stationed at Camp Hale, Colorado; Camp Swift, Texas; and Camp Carson, Colorado. Engaged in combat against German army forces occupying Italy from January to May 1945. Received a Bronze Star medal for the Apennines and Po River battles.
