Buttles family.

Arora Buttles was the second son of Levi Buttles, a member of the Scioto Company formed by James Kilbourn, and pioneer of Worthington, Ohio. Arora served in the Ohio Militia during the War of 1812, built brick homes in Worthington and was a partner in B. Comstock and Company in Columbus. He engaged in lumber business with his son, Levi Buttles, and step-son, Douglas Case, in Cleveland and developed real estate in Columbus and elsewhere. He was active in the Episcopal Church.
