Loëb, Harry Brunswick
Harry Brunswick Loëb (1884-1957) of New Orleans, La., was the son of Samuel B. Loëb and Cecile Dreyfous Loëb. In addition to being a composer of popular songs, his musical career included management of the French Opera House, commentary about music for the local newspapers, and management of the Harry B. Loeb Piano Co. He founded the New Orleans Philharmonic Symphony Society, and was active in the New Orleans Opera House Association.
