Robbins, George W. (George William), 1905-1994.
Robbins, a graduate of UCLA, returned to teach Economics as an asst. professor in 1931; during his years at UCLA, he was head of the University Extension program, chairman of the Dept. of Business Administration, and Dean of the Graduate School of Management; chairman, National Committee on Emeriti, 1965-80; Robbins was a frequent spokesman on business practices and ethics during the 1950s and 60s; retired in 1970; died in Westwood, CA, on Oct. 9, 1994.
