Macomber, on voyage 11 Sept. 1844-3 Mar. 1847 to the Cape Verde, Cornell, River Platte, Falklands, On Shore, Galapagos, Hawaii, Northwest Coast, Tonga, Vasquez, Tuamatos, Franch Rock, coast of Brazil, coast of Chile, and False Banks whaling grounds; owner-agent: William Gifford; built at Charlestown, Mass., 1816; sold and withdrawn, 1860.
