Mirel, James L., 1947-
Rabbi and musician, Seattle. Born in 1947 on Long Island, New York, where he also grew up, Mirel attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and then Hebrew Union College. He returned to Seattle in 1974 as assistant rabbi of Temple De Hirsch. In 1985 he became rabbi of Temple B'nai Torah.
