William Williams, also known as, Caledfryn
William Williams was a Congregational minister, a poet and an adjudicator. He won the chair at the Beaumaris Eisteddfod in 1832 for his ode on the subject of the shipwreck of the Rothsay Castle. He was born in 1801 and died in 1869.
