Goldfinch, Malcolm, 1916-
Retired journalist and company director. Former Chairman of TDK (Australia) and other Australian electrical companies, Goldfinch worked as an aviation and motoring editor for the Sydney Sun between 1937-46. Whilst National Manager for Remington Rand (Aust.), he presented the first lecture on the topic of commercial computers in Australia. Since his retirement in 1985 he has published a number of books on a broad range of subjects, some under the pen-name Gilbert Buchanan.
