Weir, Robert Walter, Jr., fl. 1825-1898.
Weir was the son of a well-known New York artist. He served as Assistant Engineer in the U.S. Navy (1862-1865). An illustrated satire on the U.S. Navy, Uncle Samuel's Whistle and What It Costs (1896), is attributed to him.
