Chicago and North Michigan Railroad Company.
The company was incorporated in Michigan on March 2, 1891. Sold to Chicago and West Michigan Railway Company November 3, 1899.
At the time of incorporation the company was authorized to build a railroad from the village of Leland, MI, via Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Kalaska, Antrim, Charlevoix and Emmet counties to the Straits of Mackinac. July 1, 1891, the company was leased to Chicago and West Michigan Railway Company.
