NDEA Institute for Advanced Studies in History
Six-week annual summer sessions devoted to upgrading the quality of high-school teaching by providing training in U.S. history, Asian history, Latin American history, and other topics to the 30 or 40 participants, mostly high-school teachers from Illinois; held at University of Illinois and other institutions.
