Bavier, C. S., b. 1890.
Born in Yokahama, the son of a Swiss silk merchant, Bavier moved to Australia in 1912 and enlisted in the A.I.F. in 1914. In April 1915 he participated in the Gallipoli landing. After the war he returned to Japan.
