Uren, Edward C. (Edward Clement)
Edward C. Uren was born in England, came to Wisconsin at an early age, and traveled overland to California in 1851. He settled in Dutch Flat in 1854, and became the Placer County Surveyor. Uren died in Auburn on June 14, 1899.
