Miller, George Julius, 1895-1974
George Julius Miller was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on January 15, 1895, the son of Julius and Lena Miller. After graduating from the New Jersey Law School in Newark in 1915, Miller immediately began practicing law. Miller became assistant Attorney General for the State of New Jersey in 1936. He also served the New Jersey Historical Society and directed the Historical Records Survey of New Jersey, Middlesex County. He was a member of the Board of General Proprietors of the Eastern Division of New Jersey. Miller was a Republican and also a member of the Young Men's Hebrew Association and the Zionists organization.
