University of Massachusetts. Library Communications Center.
The Library Communication Center opened in 1972 on the Dartmouth Campus. By the end of the decade it was fully operational, and the 1980's brought several prominant donations to the Archives and Special Collections, such as the Robert F. Kennedy Assassination archives. From the early 1990's on, the library has undergone many technological advances and has become a well established community resource.
