Johnston, John, 1762-1828
Little is known of John Johnston except that he was an early Pittsburgh postmaster. His son, Samuel Reed Johnston (1797-1854), was head of Johnston and Stockman Printers and also served as treasurer of the city of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County for several terms.
