Froke, Marlowe
Marlowe Froke came to the Pennsylvania State University in 1959 as an associate professor of journalism. Mr. Froke was named director of broadcasting in 1964 and established WPSX-TV, the university's public television station. In 1981, Froke was named director and general manager of the University's Division of Learning and Telecommunications Services. He retired in 1991 from the College of Journalism and Communications as Associate Professor and General Manager, WPSX-TV, Emeritus.
