Barrett, Robert E. (Robert Edward), 1938-

Robert Edward Barrett was born on August 13, 1938. He spent much of his career in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Major. From 1974 to 1977, he served as a Military Aide to President Gerald R. Ford. He later joined President Ford's post-presidential staff, serving for several years as Ford's top assistant.
