Ko, Won Yong 1945-

Won Yong Ko served as a stake high councilor in Seoul Korea Stake (1978-1979), president of Seoul Korea East Stake (1979-1985), national director of public affairs in Korea (1985-1988), regional representative for Korea (1988-1995), an Area Authority and Area Authority Seventy in the Asia North Area (1996-2005), and as a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy in the Asia North (2005-2007) and Philippines (2007-2011) Area Presidencies. He became a General Authority Emeritus in October 2011.
