Brown, Jennie M. (Jennie Mae), 1906-1999

Jennie Mae (Cobb) Brown (1906-1999), an African American resident of Atlanta and graduate of Atlanta University, was born on April 12, 1906 in Illinois. Brown graduated from the Senior High School of Atlanta University in 1923, and went on to graduate from Atlanta University in the late 1920s. She was married to Walter Brown of Atlanta, Georgia and died on September 25, 1999.
