Southern Baptist Convention. Stewardship Commission
The Stewardship Commission, organized in 1960, was an agency of the Southern Baptist Convention whose purpose focused on three areas of work: (1) Program of Cooperative Program promotion, (2) Program of Stewardship Development, and, (3) Program of Endowment and Capital Giving promotion. In 1997 the Stewardship Commission was dissolved.
