Gilboy, Elizabeth W. (Elizabeth Waterman), 1903-1973

Economist Elizabeth Waterman Gilboy (A.B. Barnard College, 1924; Ph.D Radcliffe College, 1929) was born in Boston, Mass. She served as advisor for economics at at the graduate school at Radcliffe College; economist for the Office of Strategic Services in Washington, D.C.; associate director of the Harvard Economics Research Project; and consultant for the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. She was the author of Wages in Eighteenth Century England (1934) and Primer on the Economics of Consumption (1968).
