California Nurses' Association
The founding of the California Nurses Association dates to the organization of the Pacific Coast Graduate Nurses' Association in San Francisco in 1903. The Association was intimately involved with the development of nursing education and registration in California, in criteria for licensure, and the welfare of nurses in the state.
