Seattle General Hospital (Seattle, Wash.)
Began serving the people of Seattle on July 1, 1895; in October 1975 the governing bodies of Seattle General, Doctors, and Swedish hospitals declared their intent to merge; on May 5, 1978, articles of incorporation signed proclaiming the reorganized Swedish Hospital Medical Center.
