Thigpen, Richard Elton, 1900-
Richard Elton Thigpen was born in Wilmingtin, NC in 1900. He graduated from Trinity College (Durham, NC) in 1922 and an AB degree and received a law degree from Trinity College in 1923. He served almost 20 years as a Trustee of Duke University, including the transition period from Trinity College to Duke University.
