Burnet, Ichabod, ca. 1756-1783.
Native of New Jersey; son of Dr. William Burnet; attended Princeton and served as secretary to the Essex County, N.J., Committee of Safety before being appointed as an aide de camp to Maj. Gen. Nathanael Greene (1777-1783); said to be Greene's closet aide, Burnet left the Army to pursue business interests and died shortly thereafter in Havana, Cuba.
